Methodology

Each entry begins with a public source — a podcast episode, interview, article, or written reference — in which the supplement is publicly discussed by the listed expert. The source title and URL are recorded with the entry and surfaced on every product page.

Each entry is tagged with an evidence level that reflects how directly the public source connects the expert to the documented product. We distinguish between explicit product mentions, product family mentions, and broader category-level discussion. We do not imply a recommendation, endorsement, or treatment claim.

We separately track whether the public source named an exact product, a product family, or only an active ingredient. This is shown on each product page so readers can judge how tightly the documented entry matches the source.

The Australian option shown on each product page is selected using our editorial rules — typically prioritising same product, same brand, then same product family, then equivalent ingredient form. It is not necessarily the same product the expert used, and inclusion does not imply that the expert chose, used, or endorses the Australian option.

Some supplements are regulated differently in Australia than in other countries. Each entry includes our editorial classification lens and a key watch-out before purchasing. This is editorial context only and is not legal or regulatory advice.

Where a supplier link is verified, we display it as a placeholder during this preview phase; the live click-through is not yet active. Where supplier verification is pending, a "Supplier link pending verification." notice is shown instead, and no commercial link is presented. Affiliate participation does not influence which items appear on the site or which Australian equivalents we list.

A documented entry is only shown publicly when every required field is filled with verified content: source title, source URL, evidence level, exactness, dose form, Australian-equivalence note, supplier URL, classification lens, classification watch-out, required disclosures, and copy guardrail. Items that do not yet meet all required fields are tracked in an internal content-completion checklist and are not visible on public pages.
